Our origins

1965

Grain d’Or Gel est l’une des premières industries à avoir fabriqué des pains crus surgelés.Founded by an artisan baker from the North of France in 1965, Grain d’Or Gel was one of the first companies to manufacture uncooked frozen breads.

 

It quickly became the number one supplier of frozen pizza bases.

1997

Grain d’Or Gel fait l’achat d’un deuxième site situé près de DunkerqueGrain d’Or Gel purchased a second site, near Dunkirk :

  • Pre-proved pastries developed
  • Pizza discs and pans launched
2011

Grain d’Or Gel and Lubrano joined forces to create the NOVEPAN group.

Lubrano specialises in the manufacture of bread, chiefly luxury pre-cooked frozen breads and uncooked frozen breads. Its production site is located in Gigean, near Sète.
